Baskerville:
This is an option because I like the simplicity of the font which suits alot of artists' style and genre. Likewise with deephouse music artists, they can choose two paths which are: to go all out and venture into the conventions of their genre or to stick to simplicity and let their work do all the effort.
Gabriola:
This font is also an option because it still gives a simplistic style, however is less harsh due to the curves and elongated tails of the letters.
Phosphate in Line:
This font takes a different contrast to the other two first fonts, this one is less subtle instead gives a more bold and stand out effect. This would be suitable for the artists genre deep house. It also links well to the artists character which is to stand out yet remain simple.
Seravek extra light:
This font is very simplistic and has a lighter tone to it. This could be to keep the artists work very simple and less intricate so that it can be easier for the audience to read.
Skia light:
This font is slightly more different to the others because it has a more trendier touch to the letters.
Vermin vibes:
This font has a much edgier touch to the letters which can allow the artist to be more '''''explorative' with their style and digipak.
COLOURS:
Our ancillary products should reflect the artists character and the way she portrays herself in her work. Therefore I have decided to stick to the pastel colours that are shown throughout the music video, especially when she is at the art gallery and there is a smoke effect.
Another idea: using bright colours such as red, blue, pink, green, yellow etc because this was seen in the video and expresses her fun side.
LAYOUT:
I want the layout to be as clear as possible, without any intricate parts to it which would be hard for the target audience to understand. However we don't want the layout to be too plain or simple so that it doesn't appeal to anyone, instead we want it to follow a simplistic yet eye catching format.
DESIGN IDEAS:
For the artists name I have an idea to put a line through it, which will displayed across all of her ancillary products. This could also be the synergy. Her logo might follow this exact same structure where there is a line through it. The cover of the CD will be of the artist or the two characters from the video. The album name will be the largest text, then the artsist name. Then on the other side of the digipak it will show the names of the songs on the album.
